Boris FX has begun shipping Final Effects Complete 5.0 for AE (FEC 5.0 for AE).
Version 5.0 splits the FEC product into three distinct lines: Final Effects Complete for AE (Adobe), Final Effects Complete for FxPlug (Apple) and Final Effects Complete for AVX (Avid).
The first in the series, FEC 5.0 for AE, adds support for the Adobe Creative Suite 3.0 After Effects application running on Apple OS X Leopard and Windows Vista. Final Effects Complete 5.0 for AVX and Final Effects Complete 5.0 for FxPlug will be released later in the first quarter of the year.
The new FEC release offers a modern workspace for optimal effects creation. Contextual tools and on-screen widgets streamline effects workflow, while the multiprocessor acceleration increases the FEC package performance by up to 30 percent.
