Digital content creator Boxx Technologies has built the ServerBOXX, a deskside or rackmountable 5 RU server, for applications that require multiprocessing and greater system memory and I/O bandwidth.
Boxx targets the ServerBOXX for any production environment requiring high-bandwidth access to large volumes of content. It has multichannel PCI-X architecture, 16 GB of DDR DRAM, 2.8 TB of disk storage in JBOD or RAID configurations and 14 swappable drives. The ServerBOXX comes with dual Intel Xeon or AMD Athlon MP processors.
