MLB New 'Cathedrals of the Game' to Premiere in HD
We may be on the cusp of March Madness and the many hours of HD coverage that b-ball on CBS will have to offer (see HD Notebook, 3/2/05), but it's almost the eve of a new baseball season. Major League Baseball Productions, the official production arm of the major leagues, once again will offer a series of HD specials centering on baseball parks around the country.
"Major League Parks: Cathedrals of the Game" premieres its second season at 7 p.m. (ET) on Sunday, April 3, with a high-definition tour of Fenway Park in Boston, to be followed by other Sunday shows featuring PNC Park in Pittsburgh, Comerica Park in Detroit, Rogers Centre in Toronto, and the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, N.Y. The HD programs will be accessible on the INHD cable-only service offered by most MSOs and will coincide with the first week of the regular 2005 MLB season.
