Brightman Joins dubz.tv
dubz.tv, part of the @www Digital group of companies that specialise in supporting TV programmes with an online presence, has hired Scott Brightman as it new UK technical director. The position has recently been formed by the agency and has been created to fulfil the demand it is currently experiencing for its online broadcast services.
Brightman joins the company from Interesource where he was project lead developer and helped produce sites for Channel 5 cricket, Virgin digital and The Telegraph. Prior to that he was at Ernst & Young where he was responsible for driving .NET web development into its UK software base.
The current X Factor Web site, which has been developed by dubz.tv and has seen a doubling of traffic recently as the programme hots up, will be the responsibility of Brightman, as will The Apprentice online presence.
Brightman says: "As far as supporting the broadcast medium with an online presence dubz.tv is the market leader and so it became an obvious choice to join the agency when the opportunity arose."
