Doyle Technology Consultants, a broadcast consulting, design and systems integration company located in Renton, WA, has picked current chief operating officer Chris Britton to run the company as its chief executive officer. Britton will work to foster new strategic alliances within the industry.
Prior to joining Doyle Technology Consultants, Britton worked in leadership roles with several start-up and development stage businesses on the West Coast, ranging from software development to manufacturing to import/distribution concerns. He also ran his own consulting firm called Parallax Management Group.
Recent systems design and integration projects completed by Doyle Technology Consultants include the automated playout system for duopoly operation of KPDX TV, in Portland, OR; the transition of MSNBC.com, in Redmond, WA from analog to digital media systems; and the automated playout system and integration of a DTV encoder for duopoly operation of KTEH-TV and KCAH-TV, in San Jose, CA.
