Leitch Unveils Inscriber Inca RTX HD 1.2
The Inscriber division of Leitch has released a new version of its Inca RTX HD, a real-time 2D/3D broadcast graphics platform. The system supports both HD and SD graphic technologies--including real-time animations and audio transitions. Inca RTX HD 1.2 provides broadcasters with a multi-purpose system that could ease their transition into high definition, according to the company.
Using Inca RTX HD enables broadcasters to develop custom graphic applications. The system works in live mobile or in-studio productions and helps users provide up-to-the-minute data in sports, weather and elections, as well as dynamic graphics and effects within interactive programs, game shows and shopping channels. Effects include video clips, animations, tickers, clocks and timers. In addition, users can create multi-layered looks that can be automated or controlled by a user interface.
