If you find yourself in Miami during the last week in June you might wish to take a break from the beach (too much sun can be unhealthy!) and sign up for Broadcast Depot's 2009 Workshop, June 25 and 26 at the Hilton Garden Inn.
Designed for radio and TV engineers and managers, the workshop will offer talks and hands-on demos from industry pros. Companies represented include Audemat, Comrex, Digidesign, Harris, iBiquity, RVR, Sony and Wheatstone.
Topics of interest will include selecting the right camera, DTV transmission technology, IP audio consoles, IP audio remotes, audio processing, antenna technology, server and automation technologies, and digital media archiving.
Taking advantage of the Miami location, extra attention will be paid to Latin American markets and presentations will include real-time Spanish translations.
The event coincides with Broadcast Depot's 10th Anniversary as well.
