Broadcast Pix enables “one man band” production
At NAB (booth #SL422), Broadcast Pix will introduce Version 4, a new software version of the company's switcher with integrated graphics and clips. Version 4 enables “one man band” live video production environments.
With Version 4 software, live video production studios can be run by a single novice operator or a small team. A single operator can produce compelling video programs by using the graphics and clip systems built into the Broadcast Pix switcher.
The system combines separate production functions in a new GUI that uses large thumbnails for sources, keys, graphics and clips. The GUI provides status information for all components.
Version 4 can be operated as a PixPanel, without using a hard-panel at all. In less than five minutes, a novice can learn to run the PixPanel to create productions by clicking on the thumbnail of a source or key to bring it to air.
Version 4 software will be shown at NAB and it begins shipping in April.
