Rosum Raises Money

published Rosum Corp., which makes mobile positioning technology for use over broadcast signals, has raised $15 million, according to PE Week.
The application could fold into the push for mobile broadcasting and the provision of live, place-based advertising.
Contributors include TruePosition, a subsidiary of Liberty Media; as well as repeat investors Charles River Ventures, Allegis Capital, Steamboat Ventures and KTB Ventures. Other previous investors include Intel, Boeing, Trimble and 2Wire. Rosum is based in Mountain View, Calif.
