Texas Rangers Score with DNF Controls Slow-Mo Controller
By TVTechnology
published Major League Baseball team Texas Rangers has purchased a slow-motion controller by DNF Controls.
The Rangers installed the controller at Ameriquest Field in Arlington, Texas to provide VTR-like control of Sony's DSR-DR1000 DVCAM stream-based hard disk recorder, replacing the team's laser-disk system. The pairing enables users to mark cut points on-the-fly and play back video instantly, even as recording continues. The controller supports two record and two playback channels, and offers DVCAM users a four-line display and a T-bar for slow-motion instant replay and single-keystroke cut marketing for access of up to 100 cue points.
