Snafu Crops HD Shows

published A technical glitch was blamed for cropping HD pictures in central Ohio the weekend of Feb. 9. The Columbus Dispatch reported that WSYX-TV, the ABC affiliate in the area, was experiencing the problem. It occurred during the network’s big season opener of Lost.
A master control upgrade was blamed. WSYX-TV along with sister station and Fox affiliate, WTTE-TV, had just carried out the upgrade, according to the paper. Both stations are owned by Sinclair Broadcast Group in Hunt Valley, Md. The newspaper said only WSYX-TV was affected.
