CAB Readies for 81st Convention

published The Canadian Association of Broadcasters (CAB) is readying for its 81st annual convention. The theme for 2007 is "Broadcasting, Redefined" and the show will target the issues facing the Canadian private broadcasting sector.
The CAB 2007 convention will be held in Ottawa, 4–6 November, at The Westin Ottawa hotel.
Topics up for discussion at the convention include the impact of new technologies and platforms, including broadband, the Internet, high-definition television, and digital radio; the changing needs and expectations of consumers; new business models; copyright rules; and new policies and regulations for broadcasting.
