Canadian Production Company Taps Fujinon for HD Lenses
Canadian production company Decode Entertainment has purchased Fujinon HD video lenses and HD video packages for two of its children and family entertainment series. The Fujinon HAe10x10 Cine Super E zoom lens was selected for close-up shots on "Radio Free Roscoe," a live action show that incorporates elements of a radio show in its format. It has a focal range of 10-100mm and a 10x zoom ratio. Additionally, the lens also will be used on "The Blobheads," a series that blends live action with CGI animation.
Both productions use Fujinon's HAe5x6-F, 6-30mm, T 1.8 zoom as the primary lens on Sony HDW-F900 HDCAM digital CineAlta cameras. The HAe5x6-F and HAe10x10 meet optical performance requirements for moviemaking, such as reduced fluctuation in angular field of view during focusing and a short Minimum Object Distance (MOD).
