Canopus's EDIUS Broadcast NLE system is now available. The system combines real-time, mixed format editing, a streamlined user interface, and the EDIUS Speed Encoder into one package that supports all SD and HD formats.
EDIUS Broadcast is also compatible with the new generation of tapeless acquisition and storage systems. It includes support for Panasonic’s DVCPRO 50, DVCPRO HD, DVCPRO P2 and VariCam; Sony’s XDCAM Professional Disc System; and Microsoft’s Windows Media codec.
EDIUS Broadcast features EDIUS Pro 3 real-time video editing software and EDIUS Speed Encoder for HDV to facilitate fast HDV video output.
