CBS and DirecTV Extend Their NCAA Basketball Satellite Broadcasting Deal

published DirecTV and CBS have agreed to a multi-year deal in which DirecTV will continue to show out-of-market NCAA games during CBS Sports' broadcast of the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Championship. The deal is an extension of a previous agreement between the two companies.
DirecTV customers subscribing to the “NCAA Mega March Madness” package will get up to 37 out-of-market CBS broadcasts from the first three rounds, in addition to all 64 games of the tournament. The programming from the satellite service will be supplemental to the CBS broadcasts.
