Celoxica has entered into an agreement with Chunghwa Picture Tubes Ltd. that will permit CPT to use Celoxica's electronic system level design to spur more sophisticated, higher volume manufacturing of HD monitors. Both Taiwanese firms said their goals are to increase per-unit product complexity, alleviate time-to-market pressures, and adapt more quickly to evolving display standards and formats.
CPT said it tapped into Celoxica following the results of a commercial project designed to enhance advanced HD rear projection. Using Celoxica's proprietary PixelStreams IP library and RC340 platform from its HD development kit, its "pre-built functionality was rapidly verified and implemented," the companies said.
