China: DisplaySearch to Host HD Confab
Industry analyst DisplaySearch said it would team with eMAX (China Suzhou Electronic Manufacturer Exposition) to host the 2007 DisplaySearch China HDTV Conference in Shenzhen, China on June 7-8.
The firm said by 2010, the global DTV market is expected to push out more than 200 million units annually--and about 70 percent of those units will be HD-ready. DisplaySearch usually hosts or co-hosts annual HD conferences in Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Europe and America. However, this will be the company's first HD meeting in China.
Panelists and guest speakers joining DisplaySearch analysts will include reps from LCD panel suppliers, plasma panel manufacturers, various TV brands, display electronics suppliers, DTV and HD content providers, broadcasters, and HD videodisc producers, according to the firm's Web site, where registration info is available.
Simultaneous English-Chinese-Japanese translation services will be provided for attendees.
