Doremi Cinema has secured a 200-unit digital cinema server order from Christie Digital Systems.
The server will be part of a DCI-compliant digital cinema system featuring Christie DLP Cinema projectors and related hardware and software including Access Integrated Technologies (AccessIT) theater command center. Christie/AIX is a unit of AccessIT. The DCP-2000 server can play DCI-JPEG2000 digital movies at up to 250Mbps and features 800 GB of RAID5 storage in a 3 RU chassis with redundant power supplies.
A total of 150 systems is expected to be installed nationwide by the end of the year.
