Fox Sports recently tapped Chyron for its "Fox Box" graphics at this year's Super Bowl in Jacksonville, Fla.
The Duet LEX system graphics creation tool features Lyric 2D, 3D and CG animation with 500 True Type fonts and CAL API for automated data-driven programs like the Chyron NewsCrawl.
"All of the in-game, statistically-driven graphics came from Duet," said Clark Pierce, director of remote graphics for Fox Sports in Los Angeles.
Seven Duets were on site in Jacksonville, for used in the switchers and for the "Fox Box," according to Bernabe Zepeda, lead duet developer, Fox Sports.
