Chyron Corp. has teamed up with Global Interactive Solution's Cool TV to offer interactive television services to North American broadcasters and advertisers using mobile phone text messaging and Chyron graphics software.
Ft. Lauderdale, Fla-based Cool TV's platform is based on SMS text messaging and Chyron's CAL API graphics engine run by Duet LEXs.
"Together, Cool TV and Chyron will create marketing efficiency for many industries, a new broadcast TV business model and the a sensible--read profitable for all parties--business model for developing the interactive TV market," said Andres Urrutia, Cool TV's vice president of Business Development.
