CNN.com will launch six video podcasts, regularly updated newscasts and programming produced specifically for digital video players, the news network announced this week.
The video podcasts, in addition to CNN’s audio podcasting products, will be available for free at www.CNN.com/podcasting and at iTunes.
CNN producers designed each of the podcasts specifically for the small digital video player screen, although they may also be played on personal computers and other devices.
CNN’s video podcasts include:
· “All Access — Backstage Pass,” a behind-the-scenes look at how CNN journalists get their stories;
· “Ask Glenn,” a video podcast companion to the Headline News’ primetime talk show Glenn Beck;
· “The Grist,” a satirical take on the news of the week;
· “SHOWandTELL,” a weekly show on gadgets, games and gizmos;
·“Now in the News — Commuter Edition,” a quick look at news and top stories of the day; and
·“In Case You Missed It,” a look at the sights and sounds from the top news events and most dramatic video from the day.
