Compix Media featured its newly introduced CYNERG HD, a dual-channel HD broadcast-quality CG that supports both SD-SDI and HD-SDI output, during the NAB Show.
With a 4RU chassis, the CYNERG HD allows users to brand multiple video streams with different overlay material from a single chassis and one interface, eliminating the need for and expense of working with two separate CGs.
Dedicated logo insertion, EAS message generation and automated template-based sports-score generation are among the optional features the CG supports. Logo generation is done via Compix Media’s NewsScroll, an application that creates up to two independent crawls, which are manually or automatically updated from text files or RSS feeds. NewsScroll also incorporates static and animated logos, a real-time clock and automatic weather updates.
