DaletPlus Media Library used for distance learning
Dalet, a provider of media management tools, announced that Accenture Italy has selected its DaletPlus Media Library to manage the video archives for one of Italy’s largest southern school districts.
The system will provide professors with an online digital media production platform for video material used in classrooms. With DaletPlus Media Library, professors can search for videos relevant to the courses they prepare; they can make simple clip selections and produce new videos that they will use with their students. The solution will be made available to all middle and high schools in the next scholastic year. It will then be extended to elementary and lower grade schools.
DaletPlus Media Library is an end-to-end media asset management platform. It ensures the simultaneous ingest in broadcast quality and encoding in low resolution of video material. Due to its customizable metadata schema, DaletPlus Media Library allows for the resulting audio-visual material to be managed as multimedia assets that can be searched and browsed using a standard Microsoft Internet Explorer Web browser. Users can make clip selections and even create new recordings for future use.
