Following several months of promotion and publicity, the HD-enhanced "Dan Rather Reports" weekly news program, to be produced and hosted by the longtime broadcast journalist, will premiere on HDNet next Tuesday, Nov. 14, at 8 p.m. EST.
Although HDNet has not yet announced what stories will be covered in the first program, channel co-founder Mark Cuban recently told reporters the show will feature "hard-edged field reports, in-depth interviews and investigative pieces that emphasize accuracy, fairness and guts in their reporting."
HDNet reportedly reaches about 4 million of the nation's 110 million TV homes, although its actual audience ranges are not known.
