Deadline Passes for FY 2004 Regulatory Fees
By TVTechnology
published If you're paying your FY 2004 regulatory fees to the FCC on Friday, they're late. The fees were due at 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 19. Late applications will be subject to a 25% penalty, although the commission is giving a break to stations and individuals affected by Hurricane Charley. They may seek a waiver of the penalty and must provide documentation supporting a claim that the effects of the hurricane, such as power outages or erratic mail delivery, affected the timely delivery of the payment.
