Dialight to show low-profile LED flashing red beacon at NAB2004
The Dialight low-profile, L864 series, LED-based flashing red beacon is well-suited for marking obstacles that pose hazards to aircraft navigation.
The L864 dissipates heat for optimum LED performance and has a unique lens design providing 360-degree visibility.
Measuring just 19.89 inches in height, the new light is ETL certified to FAA AC NO: (150/5345-43E) and compliant with Canadian Aviation Regulation (CAR 621.19) and ICAO (Annex 14, July 1990).
Designed to replace 300mm incandescent obstruction lighting fixtures, it mounts onto standard bolt patterns, interfacing easily into existing or new installations. The Dialight L864 flashing red beacon incorporates state-of-the-art, high-flux LEDs that use 90 percent less energy and last years longer than incandescent lights. The L864 dissipates heat for optimum LED performance and has a unique lens design providing 360-degree visibility. The new light can be operated in flashing or steady-state mode and creates no troublesome EMI/RFI.
