Seeking a bigger presence in Canada, antenna and RF product manufacturer Dielectric has announced a partnership with Pippin Technical Service.

“PTS will initially represent Dielectric throughout Western Canada, covering four provinces (Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, British Columbia) as well as Yukon and Northwest Territories to the north, with an emphasis on increasing Dielectric’s brand recognition and market share for FM radio,” the manufacturer said in the announcement.

The announcement was made by PTS President and CEO Tyler Everitt and Dielectric International Sales Manager Daniel Bizet.

Everitt was quoted: “We see a lot of opportunity for the FM replacement market in our immediate future. These projects typically begin with the transmitter and soon extend into the rest of the RF infrastructure. That means new combiners, filters and antennas, as well as the opportunities to modularly build onto existing systems as new frequencies are added.”

He also said, “ATSC 3.0 is causing some renewed interest in digital TV opportunities throughout Canada.”
