Digital Vision to introduce Restoration Workstation at IBC2006

Digital Vision, a provider of finishing and restoration systems, will introduce a new image processing workstation at IBC2006.

The 17-processor Nucoda Workstation incorporates advanced technologies in graphics processing, delivering new levels of performance while maintaining the flexibility of a data-centric solution, the company said.

The Nucoda data-centric workflow is used for image restoration, enhancement, color correction and data conforming in SD, HD and the DI 2k/4k market.

Digital Vision said it would also unveil a new time-based licensing scheme for its DVNR image processing workstation. The change will offer production facilities the opportunity to try and license Digital Vision’s Motion Compensated Grain, Dust and Color Correction functionality for periods between one day and a year.

A 2k HSDL option for the DVNR for telecine and hardware-based DI solutions will also be showcased.

Digital Vision introduced to Europe the Cifer, a HD/SD, SD/HD motion compensated standards converter developed as part of a technology partnership with Pro-Bel.
