DNF Controls to unveil The Analyst RS-422, RS-232 problem resolver
At IBC2004, DNF Controls will unveil several new products for the international market, including The Analyst, which identifies and resolves RS-422 and RS-232 interface problems, and new features for the ST304-DSR1K-T slow motion controller.
The Analyst is designed to help simplify the testing of cable runs between floors or buildings, verify RS-422 and RS-232 signal paths, or detect RS-422 to RS-232 adapter problems. The system is a compact, handheld device with a four-line-by-40-character display, eight-key keyboard and RS-422 and RS-232 connectors.
The ST304-DSR1K-T slow-motion controller provides VTR-like control of Sony's DSR-DR1000 DVCAM stream-based hard-disk recorder. The ST304 adds a four-line display and the ability to create, save and recall clips. The controller also features a T-bar for fast, simple, and smooth slow motion instant replay.
The company will also showcase its new Flex Control VTR control module. Basic control features include record, play, stop, rewind, fast-forward, jog, shuttle, slo-mo, loop play and search-to-time.
Also to be shown is the new Flex Control Clip Control module that lets users load and play video clips on video servers and DDRs within Flex's Ethernet-based, distributed control environment.
DNF Controls will also show the DMAT-O Sports Controller, designed to support Odetics protocol-based video servers and the Tally Interface Box with Tally Intelligence for safe and easy sharing of tallies and GPIs between mobile production trucks, production facilities and broadcast facilities.
