DPA Microphones has appointed Audiostacja as its new distributor for Poland. The company, based in central Warsaw, was founded in February 2005 following the merger of two existing pro audio distributors - Anymusic established in 2001 by Piotr Dygasiewicz and & Mono Digital, set up by Piotr Dolewka in 1999.
Audiostacja is headed up by the two Piotrs who, together with a dedicated staff of six, distribute a wide range of high end pro audio equipment.
"We are very proud to become DPA's partner in Poland," says Dygasiewicz. "We are sure that our market position and DPA's expertise will benefit both parties. Our main focus will be to develop a client base for DPA microphones within TV and broadcast as well as the film and theatre industry. We're also planning to focus on the recording market, which demands high quality mics and accessories for professional instrumental and vocal recording."
Adds DPA's area manager Nikolaj Rudyk, who is himself Polish and was recently recruited by the company to handle Eastern Europe, Germany and Austria, "We are very excited to start working with the Audiostacja team. Our companies share the same vision and ambitions, which I believe is an extremely important keystone to build and develop DPA's position in the Polish market."
