Early Olympic Win for Lawo

published German firm Lawo has announced that more than 40 of its mc² consoles will be in use during the 2008 Summer Olympic Games in Beijing, China.
The company said its consoles will be central to 11 surround control rooms in Beijing. Moreover, many Asian and European broadcasters will be relying on the mc²s installed in their OB vehicles.
Previous successful applications of Lawo audio solutions at major international events include the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece; the 2006 Winter Olympics in Torino, Italy; the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany; and the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest in Helsinki, Finland.
