The EBU Production Technology Seminar 2007 will take place Jan. 30-Feb. 1, 2007, in Geneva Switzerland. The seminar aims to present the best practices and latest developments in broadcasting technology for production; highlight EBU production technology groups’ ongoing work; and offer a forum for a fruitful exchange of ideas and knowledge.
The seminar will feature eight sessions:
- Wrappers and metadata (MXF);
- Compression in production;
- Audio technologies;
- Content repurposing for DVD, handhelds and digital cinema;
- Displays;
- Third-generation HD;
- Systems integration; and
- Production in hostile environments, including demonstrations.
