BR2 racks incorporate new features specifically designed to increase value and reduce installation costs.
Electrorack Enclosure Products will provide WFLD-TV, a Chicago-based Fox affiliate, with its cable headend racks. The 22-inch wide BR2 vertical rack systems have heavy-duty, fully welded construction.
Previously unavailable on standard 19” EIA racks, BR2 racks incorporate new features specifically designed to increase value and reduce installation costs.
The initial order of 30 BR2 systems, which include custom modifications, will provide WFLD with a cable management solution that eliminates typical installation issues, such as mounting rails that drop when loosened. The cabinet provides radius cable entry on the frame bottom, eliminating sharp edges that can cut cables, and standard uni-strut hardware.
Electrorack’s BR2 systems were provided to WFLD by Beck Associates, a designer and integrator of television broadcast systems.
