ESPN HD Channel Launches in March

published ESPN kicks off ESPN HD March 30 with the first MLB game of the season featuring the Texas Rangers at the Anaheim Angels.
ESPN has also announced other programming for its HD channel, including Women's NCAA Tournament, NBA Eastern Conference Finals, games from NHL's Stanley Cup, telecasts of the College World Series and, eventually, shows like SportsCenter, which will provide an additional 3,7000 hours of HDTV programs.
ESPN HD will be delivered to cable systems and satellite providers in 720p.
