ETV “Cookbook” Gets Hotter
The Local Enhancement Collaborative (LEC), comprising four public television stations and sponsored by the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, has launched an updated version of the ETV Cookbook website (www.etvcookbook.com) for those interested in Enhanced Television.
The ETV Cookbook focuses on real-world issues affecting the Interactive Television community as a whole. It contains practical examples, or “recipes,” that instruct its audience on how to create a variety of ITV applications. The site also presents case studies and in-depth technical information on both current and emerging technologies.
New “recipes” include “Production and Delivery of 5.1 Surround Sound” and “Multi-Platform ATVEF-A Deployment.” An Open Source Interactive Television Publishing System is also available for download.
