Euphonix has appointed Peter Kehoe to head up its Eastern Region Sales office, located in New York City. Kehoe, as director of sales, will report to Rich Nevens, the company’s executive vice president of sales.
As a 25-year veteran of the audio industry, Kehoe began his career as Chief Technical Engineer at The Hit Factory in New York, then held regional and sales management positions for Studer, AMS-Neve, and Euphonix. Kehoe was also a consultant for AT&T's Digital Mixer Core project and most recently founded a professional audio sales and consulting company.
Euphonix targets the broadcast industry with its new Max Air broadcast digital audio console and has been showing a production vehicle loaded with TV audio gear (including the Max Air console) at local meetings of the Society of Broadcast Engineers. The Max Air Broadcast Tour provides attendees with hands-on demos of the audio and video systems in the truck. Euphonix gives short presentations on the transition to digital on the tour.
