ExH announces B-BOp transmission line upgrade process
By TVTechnology
published ExH, an RF consulting company based in Sudbury, Ma., has announced the B-BOp, Broad-Band Optimization, process.
B-BOp allows a broadcaster, who is faced with a frequency change or the addition of another frequency, to upgrade an existing rigid coaxial transmission line run to broadband performance without replacing it.
This solution is ideal for the broadcaster worried about off-air time. The work can be performed at night and at the conclusion of the work session. The line can be reconnected allowing normal transmission on the original frequencies.
