The Farmer's Almanac TV (FATV) has chosen production gear from SignaSys for the ingest, edit and compilation of raw HD content from programming to air.
During the first phase of the update, SignaSys, based in San Jose, Calif. integrated Final Cut Pro HD editing systems and Ingest/Dub multiformat VTR Islands.
Further plans will include expanding production capabilities, contribution, distribution and newsgathering technologies.
"We have a fully operational phase-one-system that meets our every requirement, most critically our defined needs to expand," said Mickey Youmans, FATV president.
