Fast Forward Video to Unveil New DVR at IBC2004
Fast Forward Video (FFV) will debut its new board-level Outrider DVR at IBC2004 this month in Amsterdam.
The Outrider is designed for OEM applications and for high-definition recording for surveillance, law enforcement, emergency first responders and portable broadcast systems. It is available with two Compact Flash slots and a 2.5-inch IDE hard drive and has a USB 2.0 port for transferring files.
The Outrider features video capture and playback at 60fps and its resolution is greater than 550 lines at 4:1 compression, user-selectable compression ratios ranging from 4:1 to 20:1 and recording times averaging from 4 to 20 minutes per GB.
Other features include a time/date stamp and character display, time-lapse recording, NTSC/PAL compatibility, composite and Y/C inputs and puts, pre-event record and loop record of PC-viewable or secure video files.
