FCC Accepting Student Applications for 2009 Attorney Honors Program
Would-be Kevin Martins take note. Applications for the FCC's 2009 Attorney Honors Program are due from new and recent law school grads Oct. 20.
The program is highly competitive. Selection criteria include: academic achievement; writing skills; law review and/or moot court experience; clinic or extracurricular activities; and demonstrated interest in government service and/or the communications industry.
FCC issues include the communications and high-tech arenas, public safety and homeland security, mergers and acquisitions, the deployment of broadband technologies, access to communications services for Americans with disabilities, and consumer rights.
Interested candidates should submit a cover letter, resume, writing sample, official and/or unofficial law school transcript, and list of three references to honorsprogram@fcc.gov, to the attention of:
