FCC asks Congress for extension of broadband plan proposal

published The FCC has asked Congress for a one-month extension of the existing Feb. 17 deadline for delivering a national broadband plan proposal.
The commission said it needed the extra four weeks to ensure that there is sufficient time to more fully brief members of the FCC and Congress, to get additional input from stakeholders and to fully digest the exhaustive record before the agency.
