The FCC said it has dismissed the application filed by Safety Cast Corporation for a Special Temporary Authority in the Experimental Radio Service to test technology that would have used "an extremely low power, noncommercial, mobile transmitter" to broadcast emergency alert messages in the FM broadcast band and is no longer seeking comments on the application.
