The FCC is tracking broadcasters' progress in the DTV transition through FCC Form 387 updates. Broadcasters that have not completed construction of their final post-transition DTV facilities need to file a Form 387 by Oct. 20. Based on conversations with broadcasters and manufacturers, it appears delivery dates for late-ordered equipment may be slipping. Scheduling crews for equipment installation and check out may also be difficult, even for work after Feb. 18.
