FCC Extends 'Lose-it-or-Use-it' Filing Deadline to Friday
By TVTechnology
published In response to a request, the FCC has extended the filing deadlines for compliance with the July 1, 2006 Replication/Maximization Interference Protection Deadline (the "use-it-or-lose-it" deadline) from July 3 to July 7, 2006.
"Due to the impact of recent inclement weather in the Washington D.C. area and the proximity of the July 3, 2006 deadline to the July 4th holiday, the Media Bureau finds good cause to grant that request," the commission said.
This FCC Public Notice and an earlier one setting the filing date for July 3, 2006 did not appear to affect the Second Period Review Report and Order compliance deadline of July 1, 2006.
