FCC June Meeting To Focus on DTV

published Surprise. The commission’s open meeting on June 3 will focus on the DTV transition.
As the last FCC open meeting before the June 12 analog shutoff, the meeting will include presentations from commission officials, consumer groups and others involved in the DTV transition. The purpose of the meeting is to educate and update the commission and the public about final preparations for June 12, including the availability of consumer support and hands-on assistance for consumers.
A list of presenters will be released prior to the meeting, which will also be streamed over the FCC’s Audio/Video Events Web page at www.fcc.gov/realaudio.
