FCC reduces indecency fines
By TVTechnology
published The FCC vacated proposed indecency fines totaling more than $250,000 for several stations in Tennessee and Indiana.
The stations aired the CBS program, “Without A Trace”. The broadcast time was mistakenly placed in an earlier time zone due to a mix-up over the switch to Daylight Savings time.
The fines were dropped when it was determined that the broadcast actually aired at 10 p.m. rather than an hour earlier on the stations.
