FCC releases FOX ownership MO&O

published The FCC Oct. 6 released a Memorandum Opinion and Order adopted in August granting the transfer of control of FOX Television Stations from Rupert Murdoch to FOX Entertainment Group.
As part of the action, the commission granted requests for waivers of ownership rules, including the newspaper/broadcast cross ownership rule to allow continued ownership of WWOR-TV in Secaucus, NJ; WNYW-TV in New York City; and The New York Post, as well as the local ownership rule for KVCT-TV in Fort Collins, CO, to continue operation as a satellite of KDVR-TV in Denver.
