FCC Satellite Actions
The FCC's Satellite Division granted SES Americom authority to launch and operate replacement satellites AMC 10 at 135 degrees West Longitude (WL) and AMC 11 at 131 degrees WL, subject to conditions. Rainbow DBS Company LLC was granted authority to operate its Ka 3 Ka-band satellite at 77 degrees WL, "in accordance with the terms, conditions and technical specifications set forth in its amended application."

The Report also has information on additional actions regarding Sirius Satellite Radio Inc. Special Temporary Authority grants and dismissal of an amended application from Boeing and withdrawal of applications from New Globalstar Corporation seeking FCC approval of assign or transfer of control of certain FCC authorizations relating to operation its mobile satellite service system.
