FCC to hold workshop to find ways to promote public education on DTV transition

published The FCC will hold a daylong Digital Television Consumer Education Workshop at its Washington, DC, headquarters Sept. 26.
The workshop will give interested parties a chance to examine the upcoming DTV transition and discuss coordinated consumer education activities. Participants will include those representing senior citizens, low-income consumers, non-English speakers, people with disabilities, tribes, and public interest organizations.
A live audio cast of the event will be available from the commission’s Web site.
