FiberSat Global services signs agreement to uplink L.A. programming

published FiberSat Global Services has been retained to provide satellite distribution of television programming for KJLA-TV, LATV Network, KXLA-TV, and KVMD-TV in Los Angeles.
FiberSat is receiving four separate signals through digital terrestrial circuits, providing MPEG-2/DVB digital video compression and satellite uplinking on to the Galaxy 11 satellite positioned at 91 degrees West Longitude. The turn-key satellite services are being provided through facilities located within FiberSat Global Services’ Los Angeles International MediaCenter.
